Back in 2011, I did a missions trip with my church team to Haiti. We received initial briefings from the missionaries there on what to expect and one of the things they instructed was not to mention the name “Clinton”. The Clintons received over a billion dollars for the hurricane victims in Haiti, but the Haitians didn’t even received 5% of that money, so the natives got angry when they heard that name. Being that we were on a church mission, we stayed away from any political discussions, but that one instruction always stuck out to me. Gee, I wonder what happened to all that money?
