These AA female members of Congress manifest the quintessential ignorance of education purposes and methodology – not to mention teaching the truth. However, if they do “demand” teaching Black History, they might start by learning the truth about Black and especially African History. These racist politicians know precious little about the origins of slavery in the United States. As a History Professor, I have always ensured that my students know those roots! Africa-native slaves were rounded up on that continent by Arab slave traders and primarily by rival black African tribes. Yes, they were transferred to the Western Hemisphere by mostly Portuguese, Spanish, and Dutch traders.
