  1. They are eating better than the citizens living there. They are sending money back home to their country. How is this good for our economy when they are supposedly getting paid for a job and getting free welfare at the same time? I don’t believe they are all working.

  2. It’s all in the name:

    T.P.S.=

    “Temporary” Protected Status.

    The definition of temporary
    Cambridge dictionary-
not lasting or needed for very long

    Merriam-Webster dictionary-
    lasting for a limited time

    Collin’s dictionary-
Something that is temporary lasts for only a limited time.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

TPS is a temporary status, typically granted for a specific period (e.g., 18 months) and can be extended or redesignated as circumstances warrant.

Employment authorization (with an Employment Authorization Document)

    TPS does not:

Provide a path to lawful permanent resident status (green card)
Automatically grant eligibility for adjustment of status through family-based, employment-based, or other legal avenues
