It’s not that they are ignoring or trying to make a section of the 14th amendment disappear, it’s that it’s irrelevant.
Not President Trump nor anyone else has been charged, or convicted with insurrection. The strongest charge is seditious conspiracy, which is a lessor charge then treason. Therefore this morons rambling is not real, but rather another underhanded unproven accusation that will, like all other creative revisions of law— misdemeanors tried as felonies, State court overreach, unqualified prosecutors, mishandling of evidence, the list goes on and on like a grocery list.
